Description
This project uses the Baltic Sea Tracking Network (BSTN) to study the migration and survival of fish in the Baltic Sea. A primary focus is the survival and migration of Baltic salmon smolts, while the project also encompasses other life stages and fish species. This dataset only covers the fish tagged and released by SLU. The project is a collaboration between the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and the Natural Resources Institute Finland (LUKE), with generous support from Voice of the Ocean (VOTO), the Ocean Tracking Network (OTN), the Kempe Foundation, and the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management (HaV).
