Description
Europese bosbodemdatabank tot stand gekomen tijdens het EC BioSoil Demonstration Project (2006 - 2009) onder het EC Forest Focus programma. De BioSoil databank bevat bodeminformatie van proefvlakken volgens een systematisch 16x16 km netwerk over Europa (Level I, 4928 plots) en intensive monitoring plots (level II, 127 plots). Databank is eigendom van Europees consortium van landen en de EC (DG JRC) en er gelden specifieke gebruiksregels. BioSoil+ is een gecorrigeerde en aangevulde versie door INBO (FSCC). more

Zowel de level I als level II database bevatten 4 datasets: (1) Plot dataset (PLS), (2) Fysicochemische analyses volgens vaste diepte (SOM), (3) Fysicochemische analyses per horizont (PRH) en (4) Profielbeschrijvingen volgens World Reference Base (PRF). De bodemdata zijn gelinkt aan de biodiversiteitsmodule voor dezelfde proefvlakken. De biodiversiteitsmodule is aanwezig in DG-JRC (Ispra, Italië).
